to help you prepare your next presentation
Start with the end in mind. Clarify your main idea / message.
If your audience could remember only 3 things about your presentation, what should they be?
Sketch the content of your slides on post-its (before even opening the presentation software of your choice). Outline your ideas (one idea per post-it), arrange them as you see fit. Visualise the logic of your content and the flow of your presentation.
If you want your audience to remember your content, make it relevant and memorable.
Tell a good story!
