While employees resist "tactics" such as Pizza Friday, Monday Team Breakfast, sweets for those with a sweet tooth 😁 and social events (wine tastings, board game tournaments etc.), employers complain about:

We’re not claiming to have the magic pill to all the challenges associated with RTO (Return-To-Office).

However, we can share ways to:

✅ manage the inherent tensions in a hybrid work environment

✅ reawaken employees’ motivation and enthusiasm, and

✅ rekindle their interest ... so that they’ll actually want to come to the office more often 😁 to work together on something that matters.

But how do you know what matters, what "meaningful work" means to the people you work with?

  1. when things are going well, when you feel good with yourself and those around you, and

  2. in situations of conflict or opposition

and how you can align these motives with your tasks and role.
