So we started to share our expertise through a training programme: ASSESSMENT CENTRES - FOUNDATIONS

The 3-day training aims to take you from zero to ... your first Assessment (and Development) Centre.

You will develop those competencies necessary for the evaluation of candidates especially for a leadership role, as well as receive know-how and some of the documentation you will need in order to independently run Assessment (and Development) Centres.

The training agenda covers ...

  • What is an Assessment and Development Centre (ADC)? Types of ADC.

  • How to prepare an ADC. Communication of the project in the organisation. Getting buy-in from participants' managers, to support and promote the project.

  • How to build an ADC (from job analysis to choice of simulations)

  • Understanding the concept of Competency.

  • Defining the three critical competencies for a leadership role: Providing Direction, Motivating Others and Communication.

  • Developing behavioural indicators that will be observed and evaluated during simulations

  • Types of simulations used in the ADC

  • Simulating exercises (case study, group exercise, role play)

  • Running the assessment event - the assessors’ roles

  • The four stages of the evaluation process: observe - take notes - classify - evaluate. Evaluation errors.

  • The evaluators' debriefing. The evaluation scale.

  • Drawing up evaluation reports

  • Life after the Assessment & Development Centre: providing feedback to participants and their managers.

Following the training session, you can purchase a full SIMULATIONS KIT (containing various exercises / activities such as case studies, role plays, group simulations) needed to run an internal ADC.
